Lomi Lomi Massage

Believed to have originated in the Hawaiian Islands Lomi Lomi massage is a form of full body massage that is unlike any other massage modality.  As a client receiving a Lomi Lomi massage the main difference you will notice is that the massage is performed on your entire body at once.  Unlike most other massages where the therapist uncovers and treats one body region at a time, in a Lomi Lomi massage the therapist will use long flowing strokes that go from head to toe in a continuous, rhythmic movement massaging both the top and the underside of your body.

Cupping

This is an ancient healing procedure that comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine and other ancient cultures.

cupping massage
One way to think about cupping is that it is the opposite of massage. Rather than applying pressure to muscles, the suction uses pressure to pull skin, tissue and muscles.
Cupping involves placing glass or plastic jars on the skin and creating a vacuum by suctioning out the air. The underlying tissue is raised, or sucked, partway into the cup. The purpose of cupping is to enhance circulation, help relieve pain, remove “heat” and pull out the toxins that linger in your body’s tissues.
