Gua Sha Facial Massage
This elite massage technique has been used by the upper echelons of Japan for thousands of years to maintain a youthful and glowing appearance. This treatment uses specific lymphatic drainage and acupressure points to decrease swelling and puffiness of the face, chin, and neck. The session begins with dry brushing of the decollate area, then some gentle hot-towel steaming and honey rolling to cleanse and prepare the skin of the upper chest, neck, and face. After steaming, warm, pure Japanese Camellia oil is used for the acupressure based massage and shiatsu of the entire face, followed by a lightweight Japanese anti-aging serum near the end of our time together. Stones and gemstone rollers are used throughout the session as needed. A scalp massage with warm oil combing can be added.
